Sunrise Inventions, LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how UPredict Sports (“App”) handles information when you use the App.
1. Information We Collect
UPredict Sports does not require an account, sign-in, subscription, or payment.
Information Stored Locally on Your Device:
- Your bracket selections
- Your selected nickname
- Your selected avatar
- App preferences, such as Light Mode or Dark Mode
Community Selection Data: To provide community totals and percentages through the Fan Pulse feature, the App sends bracket selections and related count updates to our cloud database. This information is used to calculate and display aggregate community selections and is not associated with an UPredict Sports account or user profile.
We do not require or knowingly collect your name, email address, phone number, precise location, or payment information through the App.
2. How Information Is Used
We use information to:
- Save your bracket selections on your device
- Display your personal bracket progress and statistics
- Calculate and display aggregate community selections through Fan Pulse
- Allow you to generate and share your bracket card
- Maintain, secure, and improve App functionality and reliability
3. Fan Pulse and Community Selections
Fan Pulse displays aggregate percentages based on bracket selections submitted by App users. These community totals are used to show how bracket choices compare across the App’s user community.
UPredict Sports does not require an account or user profile to participate in Fan Pulse. Community selection data is not displayed publicly in a manner intended to identify individual users.
4. Sharing
The App allows you to create a share card containing your champion selection, top bracket choices, nickname, avatar, and/or bracket information. Sharing is optional and controlled by you through the iOS share sheet or other sharing tools available on your device.
Once you share content outside the App, that content may be handled by third-party apps, services, or platforms according to their own privacy policies.
5. Third-Party Services
UPredict Sports uses Firebase services provided by Google, including Firebase Firestore and Firebase App Check, to provide cloud database functionality, protect backend resources from unauthorized access, and support App security and reliability.
These services may process technical information necessary to provide, secure, and maintain their functionality in accordance with their own terms and privacy practices.
6. Featured Apps and External Links
UPredict Sports may include links to other apps or external services, including App Store listings for featured apps. When you select an external link, you may leave UPredict Sports and interact with services operated by Apple or other third parties. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
7. No Sale of Personal Information
We do not sell personal information.
8. Data Retention
Your personal bracket, nickname, avatar, and App preferences are stored locally on your device and may be removed by clearing App data or deleting the App.
Aggregate community selection totals may be retained as necessary to provide Fan Pulse statistics and maintain or improve the App.
9. Age Requirements
UPredict Sports is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. The App does not offer real-money gambling, betting, wagering, prizes, or other real-money gaming activities.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical safeguards designed to protect information and App services. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.
11. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. Because UPredict Sports does not require an account or user profile, we may be unable to identify or retrieve information associated with a specific individual.
