Sunrise Inventions, LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how UPredict Sports (“App”) collects, uses, and protects information.
1. Information We Collect
UPredict Sports does not require an account, sign-in, subscription, or payment.
Information Stored Locally on Your Device:
- Your bracket predictions
- Your selected nickname
- Your selected avatar
- App preferences, such as Light Mode or Dark Mode
Anonymous App Data: To provide community prediction totals in the Fan Pulse feature, the App may send anonymous prediction selections or vote count updates to our cloud database. These totals are used only to show aggregate fan predictions.
We do not knowingly collect your name, email address, phone number, precise location, payment information, or other personally identifying information.
2. How Information Is Used
We use information to:
- Save your bracket predictions on your device
- Display your personal prediction progress
- Show anonymous community prediction totals
- Allow you to generate and share your prediction card
- Improve app functionality and reliability
3. Fan Pulse and Anonymous Vote Counts
Fan Pulse displays aggregate prediction percentages based on user selections. These are anonymous community totals and are not intended to identify individual users.
The App may use anonymous, non-personal technical records or local device-based logic to help count predictions fairly and reduce duplicate voting. These records are not used to identify you personally.
4. Sharing
The App allows you to create a share card containing your predicted winner, top picks, nickname, avatar, and/or bracket information. Sharing is optional and controlled by you through the iOS share sheet or other sharing tools on your device.
Once you share content outside the App, that content may be handled by third-party apps, services, or platforms according to their own privacy policies.
5. No AI Processing
UPredict Sports does not use artificial intelligence to process user content, generate predictions, or analyze personal data.
6. No Sale of Personal Information
We do not sell personal information.
7. Third-Party Services
The App may use third-party infrastructure providers, such as Firebase or Google Cloud, to store and display anonymous aggregate prediction totals. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services outside our control.
8. Data Retention
Your personal bracket, nickname, avatar, and preferences are stored locally on your device unless removed by you or deleted when the App is removed.
Anonymous aggregate vote counts may be retained to provide Fan Pulse statistics and improve the App.
9. Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical safeguards to protect information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.
11. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal information. Because UPredict Sports does not require an account and does not knowingly collect personally identifying information, we may be unable to identify or retrieve user-specific records.
